As of the beginning of 2012 the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce provides information and services to business and investor community in co-operation with the Swiss Embassy in Sofia.
The history of the Chamber started back in 1994 when, on the initiative of Swiss and Bulgarian organizations and companies, the Bulgaria-Switzerland Business Club was established in Sofia. The purpose of the club was to improve the economic relations between both countries.
The platform contains information about Bulgarian companies from different industrial sectors: MEM (Machine, Electric, Metal), plastics, furniture, EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services), branch chambers, etc., who have expressed their willingness and intention to become partners of Swiss companies in various types of activities.
The platform was developed within the “BSCC – Promoting Partnerships” (2013-2014) and “Business Partnerships for Better Society – B2B 4 CSR” (2016-2017) projects implemented by the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and financed by the Bulgarian-Swiss Co-operation Programme through the “Partnership and Expert Fund” Thematic Fund.
