The Uniting Business LIVE event was held from 21-23 September 2020. Over three days, over 12,000 participants from 161 countries took part in the three High Level events: the Private Sector Forum, the Global Impact Forum and the SDG Business Forum. They were pleased to hear from many high-level speakers including five Heads of State, 12 Ministers, the President of the UN General Assembly, the UN Secretary-General, the heads of 15 UN organizations and more than 50 CEOs of the world’s leading sustainable companies.

The Bulgarian – Swiss Chamber of Commerce was one of the thousands members who demonstrated their support for the United Nations and inclusive multilateralism by signing onto a powerful Statement from Business Leaders for Renewed Global Cooperation.  The Statement of support – including the full list of CEO supporters – was presented to UN Secretary-General António Guterres by Sanda Ojiambo, the CEO & Executive Director of the UN Global Compact, at the opening of the Private Sector Forum on the sidelines of the High-level meeting of the General Assembly to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations
