Students visited the BSCC office on the occasion of the Vasilitsa Holiday (the Roma New year – 14 January). They greeted the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation and the Chairman of the BSCC and wished them health and prosperity following the local traditions.

Vasilitsa is a holiday of the Roma community and it marks the beginning the New Year on 14 January. On this day, dozens of schools, community centres and youth clubs from the whole country organise celebrations to present the rich variety of folklore traditions of the ethnoses of Bulgaria.
