The Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce joined the UN corporate responsibility initiative – the world’s largest with nearly 12,000 business and non-business participants in 140 countries.

The Global Compact is a platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue with the active participation and support from companies, UN organizations, business associations, NGOs and trade unions to promote social responsibility and ethical business standards.

As a participant, Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce commits to:

– Support the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact with respect to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption;
– Advance these principles within its sphere of influence, and make a clear statement of this commitment to the BSCC members, various stakeholders and the general public;
– Take part in the activities of the UN Global Compact; and
– Communicate every two years with the members on the BSCC’s engagement in the Global Compact and the efforts to support the ten principles.
