BSCC participates in the annual event of UniCredit Bulbank “Lessons from 2020 for 2021 – Macroeconomic analysis for CEE and Bulgaria”

The Chairman of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC), Mr. Boni Bonev, was an official guest of the annual event of UniCredit Bulbank (member of BSCC) – “Lessons from 2020 for 2021 – Macroeconomic Analysis for CEE and Bulgaria”. The event was held on 30.11.2020 in a fully digital environment with the participation of about 300 partners and customers of the bank.

The chief economist of UniCredit for CEE Dan Bucsa and the chief economist of UniCredit Bulbank Kristofor Pavlov predicted that Bulgaria is expected to reach pre-crisis levels of GDP in the last quarter of 2022.

As Chairman of the Supervisory Board of VAPTECH, Mr. Bonev also took part as a representative of a business model, which opened more opportunities than threats in the current situation. He said during the event that “the current situation has shown us that past experience never provides an absolute guarantee of future success.”
