The Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) continues the already established tradition of organizing an annual partnership forum. The Forum stimulates the establishment of contacts and business relations between Bulgarian and Swiss companies. It has the character of a traditional annual meeting of member and non-member partners of the BSCC, where companies can present useful practices, exchange experiences, build partnerships and establish contacts.

The aim of this year’s forum was to present innovative management practices from Swiss companies in Bulgaria, while promoting Swiss values in business relations.

This year, Howag Bulgaria, a member of the BSCC, hosted the event in its facility in Targovishte. Among the participants were representatives of local companies and institutions. The Mayor of Targovishte, Dr. Darin Dimitrov, and His Excellency Raymund Furrer – Ambassador of Switzerland in Bulgaria participated in the event.

The participants in the forum were welcomed by H.E. Ambassador Raymund Furrer, Mr. Eugen Peterhans, member of the board of directors of Howag Kabel AG and CEO of the group, and Mr. Boni Bonev – Chairman, BSCC Managing Board.

Howag representatives shared some of the company’s innovative leadership practices with the other participants, who were then invited to tour the facility and learn about production and process management.

Ms Radka Boneva, Managing Director of Howag Bulgaria, and Mr Vasil Radoynovski, Head of the BSCC Secretariat, delivered the closing speeches. The event ended with a cocktail at Howag, good mood and promises for continued partnerships.
