Groundbreaking Ceremony for the New Logistics Centre of Trisa Bulgaria

26 October 2014 saw the official start of the project for construction of the logistics base of Trisa Bulgaria near the town of Elin Pelin.

The ceremony was attended by HE Ms Regina Escher – Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Bulgaria, Mr. Svetoslav Mladenov – Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency, Mr. Evgeni Krastev – Manager of Trisa Bulgaria, Mr. Boni Bonev – Chairman of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and other officials and guests.

The logistics centre will spread over an area of 3,000 sq. m. and will be erected on a plot of 27,000 sq. m. purchased by the company for this purpose. The base will be used as a storage facility where the goods will be packed and shipped to the markets in Eastern Europe, Russia and the former Soviet states.

This is a Class A investment worth more than BGN 6 mln., which will open 30 work places.
