| Today’s company dormakaba is the result of the merger of two well-established brands – DORMA and Kaba – known for their expertise in access solutions. DORMA has been widely known for more than 20 years and specializes in producing and installing automatic sliding doors, movable wall systems, security and access control systems, glass facade systems, and glass fittings.
In 2014, the production of revolving doors was moved from Cologne (Germany) to Sofia, and since then the Bulgarian office has started manufacturing revolving doors for the whole of Europe. The desire to offer the best products and services connected DORMA with the Swiss Kaba – a leader in innovative access control solutions. The combined companies began operations as a single dormakaba Group in September 2015, and since then dormakaba has been among the top 3 access solutions companies worldwide. |
