The evening commenced with an opening address by Boni Bonev (Mr), Chairman, Managing Board Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Bonev set the stage by highlighting the enduring strength of the Swiss-Bulgarian partnership and the vital role our Chamber plays in fostering growth and resilience amidst global shifts.

It was a privilege to host Yasen Georgiev, Executive Director of the Economic Policy Institute (Bulgaria) Policy Institute, for a deep dive into “Crossroads 2026: How Global Tensions are Reshaping Bulgaria’s Economy.” The discussion provided our members with essential strategic perspectives on navigating the complexities of the current global landscape.

Spotlight on Innovation: We were proud to feature presentations from our newest members. A special thank you to Georgi Atanasov, Starck Technology; Martin Marinov, Marinov Consulting; Fabian Lange, LIM Technics EOOD, for sharing your expertise and vision with the Chamber community.

Diplomatic Honors: We were particularly honored by the presence and continued support of H.E. Pierre Hagmann. Your commitment to strengthening the Swiss-Bulgarian business bond is invaluable to our mission.

We also took this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to the new DCM Embassy of Switzerland to Bulgaria Roland Steininger. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration and your contribution to our vibrant community!
