The Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, together with 14 other bilateral chambers in the country and the InvestBulgaria Agency, organized and held the first online conference on the topic “Bulgaria As a New Top Nearshoring Destination”.

The webinar was held on July 30, 2020 with over 200 participants, representatives of companies present in Bulgaria, companies interested in investing in the country and journalists. On behalf of BSCC speakers during the conference were Mr. Vassil Radoynovski, Head of BSCC Secretariat and Mrs. Verka Alexieva, General manager, LEM Bulgaria.

One of the important priority areas on which joint efforts need to be focused in the follow-up of the initiative was the need to ensure the rule of law, including the legal rights of business, both in foreign and local investments.
