The 24th Annual Ordinary General Assembly of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) was held on 11 May 2023 at Grand Hotel Sofia.

The present members of BSCC were officially welcomed by H. E. Mr. Raymund Furrer – Ambassador of Switzerland in Bulgaria and Mr. Boni Bonev – Chairman, BSCC Managing Board.

Before the start of the General Assembly, the representatives of Penkov, Markov and Partners Law Firm – Ms. Ana Krusteva, Mr. Asen Apostolov and Mr. Nikolay Voynov presented to the participants the newly adopted Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers or Public Disclosers.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Theodor Bojinov, Deputy Chairman of the BSCC Managing Board. According to the agenda, the annual financial report, the report on the activities of the Chamber for 2022, the plan and the budget for the activities of the Chamber for 2023  were presented by  Mr. Vasil Radoynovski, Head of the BSCC Secretariat and approved by the participants. The report of the Control Committee was presented by its Chairman Mr. Stancho Stanchev and accepted by the members. An amendment to the BSCC Statutes was also adopted.

The General Assembly ended with a cocktail reception.
