BSCC supports the petition calling for an end to the abuse of anonymous shell companies

In times of crises like COVID-19, there is no excuse for anonymous shell companies. We are proud to be part of the diverse coalition sending this clear message to UN GASS 2021. Companies that exist only on paper are tools for diversion of critical resources needed for our societies to recover better from COVID-19. We need central, public registers of beneficial ownership in all countries.

Together with 700 signatories, we are asking UN GASS 2021 to set a new global standard on beneficial ownership transparency.
