As of the beginning of 2012 the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce provides information and services to business and investor community in co-operation with the Swiss Embassy in Sofia.
The history of the Chamber started back in 1994 when, on the initiative of Swiss and Bulgarian organizations and companies, the Bulgaria-Switzerland Business Club was established in Sofia. The purpose of the club was to improve the economic relations between both countries.
The Arbitration and Mediation Centre (AMC) with the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce was established in 2024 with the aim of providing services in commercial disputes with competence, impartiality and independence. Arbitrators and mediators at the Centre are persons from business and law with high professional qualities, experience and reputation. They cannot be arbitrators and mediators for other similar organisations in Bulgaria.
